Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Card Wallet : NFC & Digital mobile application ("Card Wallet", "the app"), provided by Card Wallet Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Card Wallet is a digital wallet for Android that lets you store your payment, loyalty, transit, ID, and other cards on your device, and — where supported — use them via NFC. The app stores your card data locally and encrypted on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the app. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any card you add is yours or one you are authorized to use.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your device secure and protected with a screen lock and biometric authentication.
- Only add cards that you own or are authorized to use.
- Use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and the terms of your card issuers.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, disrupt, or misuse the app or its security features.
You are responsible for the data on your device. Because your cards are stored only on your device, losing access to your device or uninstalling the app may result in permanent loss of that data. We cannot recover it for you.
4. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing
Some features require a paid subscription ("Card Wallet Pro"). Subscriptions are sold and billed through your Google Play account.
- Free trial. We may offer a free trial (for example, 3 days). If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and your payment method is charged.
- Plans and pricing. Plans (such as weekly or annual) and their prices are shown in the app before purchase. Prices may vary by country and may change over time, with any change applying to future billing periods.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your payment method is charged through Google Play upon renewal.
- Cancellation. You can cancel anytime in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
- Refunds. Payments are handled by Google Play and are subject to Google's refund policies. We do not separately process payments or refunds.
5. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. We retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the app, including all intellectual property.
6. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, terminal, card, or merchant. NFC and contactless availability depends on your device, your card issuer, and the merchant's hardware, and may not work in all situations.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Card Wallet Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time and uninstall it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the app in a way that could cause harm or legal liability. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including license restrictions, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
9. Changes to the app and these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.
